Use beautiful wallpaper to cover the front of an old filing cabinet. Wonderful!

spraypainted filecabinet... to look like blueprint! love it. has full tute. recommends " Krylon's new Dual Paint, which is a spray paint and primer in one can. I picked my favorite color, True Blue (or as I affectionately call it, "Ikea Blue")"

Great idea for turning a bland file cabinet into a useful and eye-catching part of your decor! DIY using primer/spray paint combo by Krylon and sanding first. Lines were hand drawn with a paint marker. I would make my lines a little cleaner and use an acrylic paint for easy "oops" cleanup! The lines are a must however, without the pin striping this would look like a big, blue monstrosity!

I was just saying to my self the other day that I needed a file cabinet. Might as well be a pretty one!

I got a dingy old filing cabnit that is due for a make-over.... probably wont go blue because it wont match the decor

painted chevron file cabinet (friday fun party feature)-maybe then I would put it out instead of hiding it.

"I love cobalt blue, and I think blueprints are so cool! I am not brave enough to paint a room this color (yet), so I started small, with my file cabinet."

Painted filing cabinet- such a good idea, I have seen these all over in ugly colors, would be a good thing for storage in scrabook area

Garage sale piece that I cleaned up, spray painted, and mod podged with scrap book paper... Now a happy spring-time piece!
