"Birth" Day - hope to get some cute pics with the little man as well

Ask your doctor if they allow a camera in the OR? I have pics like this from my c-sections ;) They just told my husband to wait till they give the okay for him to snap (the didn't want him seeing anything that would possibly make him pass out lololol) so my Dr held the babies up and said snap away Daddy! :D You can also ask a nurse to take pics for you too ;)It's all the Dr's preference. (YAY to the sue happy jerks for ruining that for us huh?)

Because of it being a "surgery" and they couldn't have my husband that close to my open stomach, they way they did it for my husband is leaving a good length on the cord and when baby was in the warmer he was able to cut the cord after they clamp his button :) Even that was cool enough for him he said. But hey it wouldnt hurt to ask your Dr their policy on how and when daddy can do that :)

A new body being born. Looks like they have a grasp on life.

Love that c-sections were represented in the 2011 International Birth Photograph of the Year Contest! It really doesn't matter how they get here- promise! :)
