Grilled cabbage. INSANELY delicious, easy, inexpensive & healthy. (1 t. olive oil, 2 T. bacon bits, 2 T lemon juice, 1 T. worcestershire, 1/4 t. salt, 1/4 t. pepper, 1 Cabbage, quartered, individually wrapped. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-30 minutes)... use turkey bacon
Cabbage is a superfood that is packed with nutrients and is naturally low in calories. I was never been a big fan of cabbage, until adding Dijon mustard. I must admit, this is now one of my all time favorite side dishes. When the weather is warm, we place non-stick foil on the grill, poke a few holes in the foil, and roast the cabbage wedges until tender.
