The Face of Genocide In April 1945, Canadians accompanying British forces in Germany entered the Nazi concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen. Sickened and horrified by the atrocities they witnessed, these Canadians made a visual record on film and on paper of the war's tragic victims. Note the writing on the back of this photo, which reads: "May we never forget and never let it happen again".
Cary Stayner, the Yosemite Killer, is the older brother of kidnap victim Steven Stayner. He was a handyman at the hotel where his 1st three victims were staying when he murdered them in February 1999. Carole Sund and Silvina Pelosso, were found in the trunk of the charred remains of Carole's Pontiac rental car. A note was sent to police indicating the location of the third victim, Juli Sund. Stayner then confessed to the 4 murders. He was sentenced to death in 2002.
Andras Pandy was a Belgian pastor who began raping his daughter, Agnes, when she was 13. Between 1986 & '92, Andras & Agnes murdered an indeterminate number of victims. Agnes would often hack up the bodies afterward and dissolve the pieces in a vat of acid. 6 of the victims were Andras's 1st & 2nd wives, several children & stepchildren. Other victims were orphans and women. In 1997, Andras - pushing 40 - confessed to police. He was given a life sentence, while Agnes was given 21 years.

She also shot dead two of her own who raped a local woman and warned the rest the same awaited them if anyone else touched a single girl or woman in the village or anywhere else.
Death by a Thousand Cuts This absolutely horrible form of torture was prevalent in China as late as 1905. The victim was tortured by cutting/slicing him with the use of a very sharp knife. Torture usually started with the cutting out of the eyes. This was done to blind the victim for the rest of the act so as to increase mental agony. Successive cuts would sever the victim’s ears, nose, lips, fingers, toes and ultimately large parts of flesh. The entire process would take over 3 days.

Carl Eugene Watts (November 7, 1953 – September 21, 2007) killed over 100 white females between ages of 14 and 44. He did the first murder at the age of 20. He kidnapped his victims from their homes, tortured than murdered them. Watts first confessed the murder of 12 women. Later claimed to have killed 40 and later implied there were more than 80 victims in total. Police considers Watts a suspect in 90 unsolved murders. He was given a 60 years life sentence and died of prostate cancer in…
Henry Lee Lucas was a necrophiliac that beat, stabbed, strangled, and dismembered his victims. He is believed to have committed over 100 horrendous murders, including his mother and 10-year-old niece. Lucas was a roofer and many of the murders were committed with his co-worker, Ottis Toole, who was just as sadistic. Both men had horribly abusive upbringings... the creation of two more serial killers.
Amelia Dyer. Hanged for murder in 1896. Some estimate her victims to be 400 victims. All babies. This would make her the most prolific serial killer in history. She would take in the illegitimate babies of Victorian women, promising to "farm" them out to adoptive parents for a price, or raise them until the mother could return for them. She'd then pocket the money, pawn the baby's clothes, and strangle the babies.
