@Jennifer Booker...made me thing of you! DIY cherry blossom art. So simple and so cute. Start by painting the tree trunk and branches on your surface of choice. Then, take the bottom of a 2-liter soda bottle, dip it in your paint and stamp on and around your branches. Can't wait to try this one out! I seriously need to do this...I LOVE cherry blossom trees

Beautiful cherry blossom art using a pop bottle! craft ideas.......

Pop Bottle Cherry Tree ~ Materials: • White paper or canvas • Black and pink paint • Paintbrush • Empty 2L bottle Instructions: • Start by using dark paint to paint a branch on poster board. Branches are easy to paint. If you can’t paint in a straight line, it looks even better. • I cut this piece of poster board in half lengthwise because I want it to look more like an art panel than a poster. • Once the branch is painted, let it dry before continuing with the stamping. • Now let’s do the stamping. Pour some paint on a paper plate and dip the plastic bottle. • The bottom of 2-liter soda bottle has five points like the five petals of a cherry blossom. • Press the plastic bottle on the poster board, then lift up. Dip the bottle in more paint each time you repeat the stamp. This is really fun, add as many blossoms as you want.

Use acrylic paint & the back end of a paint brush for the dots. Then put into a cold oven & preheat to 350 - let sit for 30 minutes. Turn off oven & let cool with the glasses still inside. Voila! Hand-painted works of art you can drink from. :) Would be pretty on wine glasses too
