Pumpkin French toast. I am soooo making this. Update: Made this, finally. It has more of a mild pumpkin flavor than I expected but it's very good. I used twice the cinnamon the recipe called for, plus I used cinnamon chip bread from Great Harvest - it was awesome. I will definitely be making this again.
Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie 1 cup unsweetened pumpkin puree (to make your own, click here) 1 frozen banana 1/2-1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk 1 scoop unflavored (or vanilla) protein powder* - optional 2-3 TBSP agave or maple syrup, to taste 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/8 tsp. ginger Small pinch of cloves Small pinch of salt Ice - optional
Pumpkin Pie Milkshake 2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt 1/4 cup milk 1/3 cup pumpkin puree 1/4 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ginger 1/8 teaspoon cloves 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoon gingersnap cookies (crumbled, optional) 1. Blend everything other than the gingersnap cookies in a blander. 2. Serve garnished with the gingersnap cookies.
