Make your own Giant Lollipop Centrepieces for your kids parties - cut up a white PVC pipe for the stem, insert it into the opening of a paper lantern, wrap clear cellophane around the lantern tie with a ribbon. Stand the lollipop in a bucket of sand to support it. Check out our other kids birthday party ideas too: http://www.under5s.co.nz/shop/Activities/Birthday+Parties.html?ppp=1000

Clustering a big group of red lanterns is such a simple and affordable way to add instant drama to the room. I would mix in some pinks and whites too.

Jelly fish lanterns, these lanterns cost 2-5$ depending on the sizes but light up and would add to the atmosphere of the room
