I like plain bed spreads that way you can decorate with lots of colors!!

This website has a tutorial for a DIY version of this duvet cover! Super cute. It would take A LOT of time, but it seems doable. Color preference- taupe/beige. May sew velcro along the inside of the edges of the duvet (underneath the ruffle edge) and in the same spots of the underlying comforter. Also may use pre-made ruffle for the edges. Cute cute!

I actually have this exact bed . It doesn't have the lattice though . It was built in 1913 . The date was stamped on the metal springs that were on it . We have had it for 37 years .

I would pick another color but I realy like this with the different textures

Nimbus Jersey Euro Sham by Antrhopologie. These shams pair beautifully with either of the tufted comforters (Antrho or Pottery Barn) to complete the romantic side of a steampunk bedroom.

Sleeping is one of my favorite things. My second favorite thing is waking up and lying in bed reading or rolling around thinking about what I need to do for the day. It's always made much better with soft linens, romantic shades of ivories and creams and a breeze from an open window.
