I love reading books again and again. It's like coming back to old friends. And you will always notice something new or make a new connection that you hadn't thought of before. Even if the world in that book is always the same, the reader is not, thus the story will always grow.
**Southern Lit!** Ms Joshilyn Jackson is a thought-provoking writer & her books never fail to make me Think. Her other books include, "gods in alabama" "a grown-up kind of pretty"= i haven't read yet! &"Between, Georgia" I've had the pleasure of meeting Ms Jackson, at a book signing at the Book Exchange. She does events at local bookstores. **I do not own the copyright to these images"
Read December 2011. Nonny, who was adopted by a single deaf woman as a child, now works as a sign language interpreter and struggles to balance her adoptive family with her natural family. Jackson knows how to tell a story. Not very deep, but an easy and compelling read.
The Top 32 Popular Fiction Books for Book Clubs. Of the 32, I have read a total of 4. I already have 12 of the books on the list, but haven't read them yet. There are 2 books on the list that I tried to read, but couldn't get through. Finally, several of the remaining 14 books on this list are ones that I would like to read in the future. Overall, a great list!
