Use any CLEAN canvas, apply stickers, decal, etc., and spray paint. Remove Decals; hang white lights behind it....this is awesome! This would be a unique night light for a kids bedroom. (~TA~ Very cool idea, try on a small scale to see if it works, since the original piece is metal with cutouts ... )

Using stickers or paper cutouts. 3 coats of acrylic paint (What about spray paint? Or the wall color paint?) Then nailed in icicle lights. That would totally look like falling snow!

Canvas, Masking Tape, Spray Paint - So easy! - When I pulled off the tape, it looked a little "messy." Some of the spray paint had found its way under the tape. I ended up touching it up with white paint to perfect the lines. It's a great piece of artwork though and it gets tons of compliments.
