Johan Teterissa is a primary school teacher from Indonesia. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison because he was leading a peaceful protest where the protestors raised the flag of Maluku. Maluku is a part of Indonesia, and the Indonesian government has been trying to violently stop the independence movement. Teterissa is not the only one sentenced to prison for this reason. The ones sentenced have not gone through objective and rightful trials, and they have suffered from violence and torture.

I am a woman and I have these human rights.

Basic Human Rights~Often violated by the thought police. If we REALLY stop, listen, learn and THINK...changes happen and change usually isn't comfortable so people often choose to allow others to dictate their thinking and that is dangerous and leads to violations in basic human rights.

Why I perform abortions: A Christian obstetrician explains his choice. Great article about a formerly anti-choice abortion provider who now performs late-term abortions for reasons of conscience. #prochoice #feminism #abortion #reproductivejustice

An interesting interview, I know very few women have late term abortions thank goodness. i think it all comes down to more reliable birth control, more education and more self control (in some cases). Condoms should really be available in schools (at the nurses office or elsewhere) telling kids to abstain is a total joke for most. Kids are bombarded with images and glorification of sex from a tender age these days. Some of the "reality" shows out there are really over the edge with women behaving terribly. My point is, try to never get yourself in the situation of needing an abortion. i do feel very bad for the women who have to abort a very wanted child due to fatal flaws in the babys development, it must e a heart breaking decision.
