Why is abstract art so attractive? To some it is not because they seek to understand or "claim it" with an identifiable noun. I believe abstract art is the kindest form, because it requires no explanation... to simply behold it, we must banish thinking and just SEE.
Blue Fire. Ann Brauer. She says: This is one of my recent quilts which I call "blue dream". It is about 38x100" and seems to stretch up to the sky. I made it by piecing and quilting thin strips of cotton fabric through the batting onto the back. Don't you love all the curves and wispy spirals?
