• Paint a stretched canvas from an art-supply store in your desired color. • Plot out your design in pencil on the back, keeping dots a half-inch apart. • Gently press an awl through each dot in your design to make a hole slightly smaller than the diameter of the bulb. • Press a bulb into each hole; secure each with craft clue.

Hearts on canvas. I used this as an inspiration for a project with my toddler son. I cut out hearts in different sizes from several coordinating scrapbooking paper. My son then glued them (with my help) onto canvas. I didn't help with placement at all yet the whole project was hang up worthy. It now has a permanent place on my wall.
