Great mud room... check out the built-in shoe storage and hooks for coats and backpacks... jealous!

This is what I have in mind for our Mud Room (Plenty of storage on one wall and the W/D and Sink, etc on the other wall)... The top cabinets offer storage room for small appliances (crock pot, etc.)...and the basket cubbies can hold anything (I was thinking laundry on one side and pantry overflow on the other side)...

We are doing something like this on our landing. Bead board floor to ceiling with a shelf up high, hooks, bench bottom with shoe storage underneath. It's in the plans for this summer!!!
