Frida Kahlo: Her Photos, an exhibition featuring 259 images from the artist's personal collection of photographs sealed until 2007

Frieda Kahlo (Mexican) Artist. Her paintings are expressionistic with some surrealist qualities but not full surrealism falling into a class of their own. A terrible injury in a bus accident as a child kept her in horrific pain which is expressed in many of her works. She was married to Diego Rivera the famous Mexican muralist artist and communist sympathizer which caused him to ostracized which she was more concerned with her self expression, art.

Frida Kahlo: by Imogen Cunningham -- love her and love this photo, i believe i saw it at a frida khalo exhibition years ago along with other photos of her, which, despite the way she painted herself, was truly beautiful.

Frida Kahlo rockin the eyebrows. It is so awesome how someone who is so different from the stereotypical beauty could be so beautiful.
