Recipes for every kind of home made cleaners...better for you and the environment and save lots of money in the process.

FABRIC SOFTENER: 6 cups HOT water 3 cups white vinegar 2 cups Suave Refreshing Waterfall Conditioner {or other favorite scent}.

Homemade fabric softener - I absolutely LOVE this! Works better than Snuggle, IMO - I did have an extremely faint smell of vinegar in my bath towels (not in the hand towels, washcloths, or any other article of clothing) I used Suave - since you can buy one bottle for a dollar - but really, you maybe save about two dollars....I would still choose this over store bought any day.

Oven Cleaner Into a spray bottle mix: 2 oz. Dawn Dishwashing liquid 4 oz. Lemon Juice 8 oz. White Vinegar 10 oz. Water Now make your house sparkle! *Please test it first before using on delicate surfaces. This is powerful stuff! If your shower has a bad build-up of soap scum and crud it may take a time or two to get that shine.

Make Your Own Fabric Softner 2 cups hair conditioner (I use Suave in Lilac or Misty Mountain scents) 1 cup vinegar 6 cups water

DIY Homemade Fabric Softener Recipe! ~ from TheFrugalGirls.com ~ this is SO simple to make and such a huge money saver! #laundry #cleaners #thefrugalgirls

Homemade Fabric Softener: 75 cents for 3 quarts, smells heavenly and works great!

Grout Cleaner ½ cup baking soda 1⁄3; cup household ammonia ¼ cup white vinegar 7 cups warm water

Clean your produce!!!  If you don’t want to rinse fruits and veggies in plain water, you can simply wash them with one part vinegar and three parts water. Add a little lemon juice and a touch of baking soda to the mix to get non-organic veggies really clean. Just be sure to rinse well with plain water before eating.

VDistilled white vinegar - Vinegar whitens, freshens, and softens fabrics. Add 1/2 to 1 cup of distilled white vinegar along with your regular laundry detergent. Don't worry about the vinegar scent; it will dissipate after drying. Vinegar may also be sprayed on spot stains and collar and underarm stains.

Paula Deen Corrie’s Kitchen Spa: Savannah Bee Company Honey Hair Conditioner 1/2 cup organic honey, 4 tbsp light olive oil. Mix into hair, cover with cap and let set 30 mins before rinsing.
