Situated on 17 acres of landscaped gardens on a peninsula overlooking the Mediterranean, this "visually stunning" Belle Époque hotel is "perfect for a romantic getaway." As it’s "a bit remote, you definitely need a car to get around." The lobby has marble floors, and its centerpiece is a rotunda designed by Gustave Eiffel. A glass funicular in the garden takes guests down to the swimming pool. Rooms have beige and white marble and reproductions of artwork from French artists who have stayed there—Matisse, Chagall, and Rodin. Eight suites have private pools. Le Cap serves caviar lasagna, but "the cost of the food is just ridiculous."
