easy fun game. This site has a list of great classroom math ideas

I think this manipulative would be great to use in a math center for kindergarten or first grade because it helps the students visualize addition problems by comparing the 2 numbers individually with different colors and together when they're connected to find the sum of the numbers. 5266

What a cute game! Can't find the original link-if anyone does, let me know. PERFECT for Halloween!

Math center idea for tens and ones. I use foam dice so they don’t make any noise. Student rolls 2 dice. The 1st number is for the tens place and the 2nd one is for the ones place. If they roll a 6 and 4 they write down 64 and then they draw the picture. You can add more dice for larger numbers.

Math Games/Centers...Lots of PDFs. Designed for younger grades (think primary 1-2) but I can think of lots of ways to raise the bar for my fourthies!

Math - put a number sentence on turkey, then student glues that many feathers on

Center rotation- love the idea of using real classroom pictures. It would probably be helpful to have photos of what they are to DO at the centers too. MUST do something similar before we all go nuts.

Snowman fun. 3rd graders can enjoy art by making there fun snowman out of construction paper and other materials provided. After constructing their snowman students can use their math skills to see how tall their snowman is and how wide.

math center @Andrea Henne i like this for maybe the beginning of the year as we are reviewing numbers?
