Buck System

No more treasure box! Great behavior coupons. I love the ideas in here, like Show & Tell. Students get to pick rewards that are meaningful to them! I think this is great for starting kids on the path to intrinsic motivation. I also love the container they are in!!

Teaching diversity Expectation #1 idea. Beginning of the year activity.

This is such a great idea! You could use this concept to organize other flash cards. Can you think of another way to use this system?

Behavior Management 4th grade+...kiddos keep a checkbook starting with a certain $ amount and pay fines for responsibilities they do not complete or other unacceptable actions...at the end of each season you can take their balance and they get to spend it on whatever they'd like :) I love it!! Teaches so many different life skills!

Behavior Plans and Charts

Behavior Plans and Charts- This resource gave me some great ideas about ways to monitor individual students when the rest of the classroom is obeying the rules. I think an "unofficial" individual behavior contract could be very useful (I can think of one student in my field placement that this might work for).

positive behavior management tickets (used with reward catalog) Amy Dugan...she explains her behavior system. She used this instead of red, green, etc.

No Name Board- This is a great way to display no-name papers so that all the kids can see them. This would also teach students responsibility with making sure their work is turned in with their name on it. -JN

Student Where Abouts

Making this!

I would use this in my classroom, as it is good to reward your students. Giving them something to work towards that is fun will encourage them to do the right thing. I want to have a controlled classroom! The best classroom in the school!(:
