Another old almost truism! An old Navy man once told me that the ocean's salt water cured everything. I guess it depends on what hurts.

I am now writing a novel about a lighthouse and the three generations of women who grew up there. This is their motto.

Forgiveness is a decision. We decide to cut off the bitter root and plant a seed of love. We cannot blame ourselves if it does not grow; sometimes the other party has poisoned the soil too much.
