5th grade Reading Notebooks - thinking stems... I will look into this. Most of it we do, but I like this as a reference.
"My Reading Notebooks". I would use reading notebooks in a 4th or 5th grade classroom. In these notebooks students reflect on their reading. They write about what they are reading and how they feel about the new reading strategies they are learning. Includes thinking stems so that students use deeper thinking and are not just giving summaries of their books or saying whether they like what they are reading or not.

Reader's Notebook [I like the idea of students being able to keep track of books they've read and books they want to read/have received recommendations]
A "Reader's Notebook" that can work for ANY grade. I'm not entirely who the "letter" is supposed to be written to, but I can remove/adapt that if necessary.
