Old Schoolmaster's House in Frankie Spaces

Only cost $120 to make!! Love it! Want to make this for the space beside my front door

transom above the front door and interesting ceiling Living With Kids: Looking Back - Design Mom

La Dolce Vita: House Tour: Lauren Gelb Weisbarth - love the millwork and ceiling paint.

Shanty Hall Tree Bench for the Entryway...use the old door from Chuck's old place and build bench from pallets! Will paint the window part of door with chalkboard paint or maybe install mirror. Add hooks & baskets under bench. Yessssss!

in narrow entryway - skip the shelf/bench portion and just use a ledge for art and hooks for necessities. Add in some sort of short-drop ORB fixture and a front door swap with a larger window --or maybe go nuts and increase the height of the door frame and add a transom!

The entryway can be a great place to experiment with bold, patterned wallpaper if you’re working within a smaller space.

I love the idea of a church pew for an entryway bench

Pretty and inviting:) This pin gave me the idea (event hough it's not actually part of the space) to do a sign facing you when you come in my front door that says "hello and welcome" and one facing you when you leave that says "Goodbye, come back soon!"
