    Snickerdoodle Cookie Bars 1 c butter or shortening (shortening = better texture) 1½ cups sugar 3 eggs ¼ c sour cream 2 c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt ⅓ c sugar 1 T cinnamon Cream shortening & sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, scraping down the bowl between eggs. Mix in sour cream. Combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, baking powder & salt. Mix into shortening/sugar mixture. Sprinkle half of cinnamon/sugar in 9X13 pan.
