      How to make glittered glassware hand washable. Clean glass w/alcohol. Put plastic bag over top of glass & tape w/blue tape on stem in a straight line. Apply Mod Podge & glitter. Let dry. Apply 1-2 coats of Rust-Olean Lacquer glossy coating. Carefully remove tape when dry.     I should try this: Baking soda neutralizes the ph in the soil and nothing will grow there. I use baking soda in a 6" wide area around all of the edges of my flower beds to keep the grass and weeds from growing into my beds. Just sprinkle it onto the soil so that it covers it lightly. I usually have to do this twice a year - spring and fall.


    Line flowerpots & planters w/ coffee filters to stop soil from falling through the drainage hole! Brilliant ~ why don't I ever think of these things on my own?!?!

    Fill balloons with water and add food coloring, once frozen cut the balloons off & they look like giant marbles.
