How to weather furniture. This is my exact end table and coffees table. I will be doing this in the future!

Refinish to look like reclaimed barn wood ... use a gel varnish remover to strip off most of the varnish. The contrasting barnwood look comes from not getting all of the varnish off, whatever is left behind will appear lighter when you apply the dark stain. After the wood is dry, lightly sand the entire table {& heavily sand the areas I wanted darker}. Clean the wood with cheesecloth, then apply 2-3 coats of a dark walnut stain. Once dry, spray with a clear, satin polyurethane, & let dry.
