Triadic Philosophy: Abba whose home in heaven is is my parsing of Our Father who art in heaven
Abba whose home in heaven is is my parsing of Our Father who art in heaven which is the first line of The Lord's Prayer Abba means father but is more familiar more like Dad or even chum I believe Abba is in heaven but that heaven is potentially within us all Which means Abba is within us all Abba may be the ultimate mystery that lies past all efforts to grasp or comprehend But he is also our link to the whole and to each other We evolve Life evolves Abba is with us How else could we address him By saying that heaven is Abba's home we say thumbs up to the process of which we are all a part Indeed when our lives are in synch and our relationships are moving along we experience heaven on earth And of course this prayer is all about that For the journey on which we are embarked is precisely towad the goal of making earth more heavenly So Abba is not in a home separated from us When we are in synch with Abba we are in heaven too Own a Kindle? As we forgive those who do wrong is my parsing of the traditional words of the Lord's Prayer | ShortFormContent at Blogger

Triadic Philosophy: As we forgive those who do wrong is my parsing of the traditional words of the Lord's Prayer
As we forgive those who do wrong is my parsing of the traditional words of the Lord's PrayerAs we forgive our debtors As we forgive those who trespass against us Both of these constructions are less telling these days As we forgive those who do wrong covers the waterfront of things we need to forgive on a daily basis We are forgiving a whole lot of people including people we have already forgiven when our forgiveness has been less than effective We forgive those we know have harmed us in word and deed And we forgive those whose actions are harming us even though they may not know it and are far away We forgive everyone daily But the most the most important word in this beyond forgive is common to all versions - as This points to the reciprocal contractual covanental nature of this massive transaction We are forgiven by Abba AS we forgive This is the only condition in the prayer but it is the key to everything Go to South Africa where they have made forgiveness a national priority It is not perfect but imagine this happening in America Impossible in our poison climate To be forgiven is to stand free To obtain this freedom we must daily forgive everyone It does not mean we do not battle It means we battle for the values not for the pleasure of destroying folk And if we are destroying folk we need to look to our values The key ones are tolerance democracy helpfulness and non-idolatry Own a Kindle? Triadic Philosophy: The Jesus of "Abba's Way" does not proselytize
My words were plain back then, they are plain now; Rejoice. Take Abba in. Receive his love. You are a spectrum, primal to sublime; You overcome when Abba lifts you up. Come celebrate. Learn silence. Then create. You are a calling from Abba’s great heart To be, and to become, a strong beacon; To build new values earth can depend on. Judge not. But be a light that can be seen. Judge not. But let the world know Abba’s way. Judge not. For Abba works in everything. Let Abba’s wisdom shine in all you say. The Jesus of "Abba's Way" does not proselytize He calls us to simplicities that confound this world He understands the reality of humanness His "judge not" is a gateway to a delicious liberty Stephen's Remarkable Kindle Store

Triadic Philosophy: Patriotism is idolatry Abba's way is non-idolatry
Patriotism as Idolatry - Beliefnet.com: 'via Blog this' Patriotism including worship of a flag is idol worship - idolatry Idolatry ascribes worth or value to things that are not worthy No human venture is fully worthy No human being is fully worthy Human ventures are partial imperfect subject to corruption Abba's way values tolerance democracy helpfulness and non-idolatry These work together when we choose them to advance history We may have deep love of country but not idolize it Love that does not idolize is real deep and true When we accept the values of Abba's way we are not subscribing to a religion We are acknowledging a universal path for all We are ordering our lives as they should be ordered These values are within us willing them is natural We find ourselves when we see and practice this My Kindle Store Books
Give us this day our daily bread is interesting It is an imperative As though it is in Abba's power to give us bread It is also recurrent Daily implies every day including today And finally it is our bread It belongs to us It as as if Abba has something of ours And that's the nub This is saying make sure we get our bread today It is entitlement a right We are asking Abba to see to it that we are fed When we are not fed something is standing between us and Abba How about poverty How about scarcity How about selfishness How about greed If the bread is ours to begin with we are asking Abba to clear away these possible barriers We are assuming that Abba has the power to conquer poverty and greed and all these other things And so Abba does but only as we understand the truth We are entitled Entitlement is not a dirty word It refers to a right We ask for bread and expect to receive ... our daily bread And let us be clear this is everything that nurtures us Call it entitlement Call it a safety net But this prayer means more Our daily bread means our portion of what is needed to enjoy life liberty and the pursuit of happiness Own a Kindle? Abba is present in the AIDs-wracked child who has never heard of Jesus. | ShortFormContent at Blogger
Jesus Shortformcontent, Wracked Child, Aids Wracked, Triadic Philosophy, Philosophy Abba
Triadic Philosophy: Abba is present in the AIDs-wracked child who has never heard of Jesus.
Abba is present in the AIDs-wracked child who has never heard of Jesus. Abba is present in Glenn Beck and Keith Olbermann. Abba is present in Sarah Palin and Barack Obama. Abba is present in the most hardened prisoner and the most dastardly killer. Abba is present in the victim of every criminal act, whether Jesus has been within earshot or not. Gospel means good news. The good news is that Abba the One is the foundation. An accessible parent, a friend, an enabler. A beacon of hope and justice. But Jesus got mightily ticked off when people tried to make him - Jesus - an object of worship. To build shrines to him. To do anything that suggested that we could not do exactly what he was doing. Relying completely on Abba and Abba's available power. Why? Jesus was all about human progress on this earth. Jesus was about showing people exactly how they could and should live. Jesus was about values, About changing bad values into better values. With daily repentance. With daily awareness that Abba intends us to have daily bread. And so forth. So when someone says that spirituality comes through Jesus, sure. That is so. But when someone says, Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, that's wrong. We are already saved. We already have Abba within us. Abba is the universal spark of life. Global Online Privacy

Triadic Philosophy: Forgive the wrongs that we have done is my parsing of Forgive us our trespasses
Forgive the wrongs that we have done is my parsing of Forgive us our trespasses or Forgive us our debts These archaic sentences do not have the contemporary meaning of wrongs we've done Many never think daily confession of wrongs has much to do with anything But on Abba's way such a confession is the foundation of an overcoming existence Because we are powerful people We occupy space We violate others We get exuberant and it ends up in wrongdoing We know the drill Once we do wrong it either gets forgiven or it mounts up until all the power we have begins to shrivel and our potential starts to tank Note that when we say this we are not talking about me but we We make a corporate confession We are confessing social as well as individual wrong The Lord's prayer is a we prayer Be aware that we are asking Abba for forgiveness Abba us within us We are asking to be realigned with the best within ourselves and with the values that make for minimizing wrong - tolerance helpfulness democracy and non-idolatry We are powerful because we are intended to be good That is what makes us human You are reading one sentence of the most powerful words a human being can utter.
