LEGO Table from IKEA. The bins (also from IKEA) are made to slide into all the nice slots. The table top is made from a 5' x 5' piece of baltic birch plywood cut to 4' 8". I rounded the corners of the top, routed 1/8" edge, and sanded it using an orbital sander. spray paint which matched the blue LEGO color exactly, and then a clear coat) bought from Home Depot.

Trofast as bunk bed steps - don't know why it hasn't fully occurred to me that we could just add something like this to any bunk beds that aren't made with stairs. Or just get over my desire to have stairs, since both girls are fine on a ladder.
