Fontaholic: Mixing and Matching Fonts .. although for design novices I'd say mixing a max of three fonts is a better rule.

Free fonts - thinking about keeping a digital family "yearbook" instead of Project Life for 2013 & printing books at the end of the year. Maybe Bready for the months? Would go well with a simple sans serif.

I like that this font looks like it has texture. It isn't too hard to read with just a few letters, but it probably wouldn't work with multiple lines of text.
