    I ❤ embroidery . . . I’m calling it the Chain Stitch Spider Daisy for two reasons: It’s a daisy created with the detached chain stitch & the ribbed spider web stitch, & when you look at it from the side, the petals are a bit too reminiscent of spider legs! This is a neat little flower technique, if you want to add simple flowers with a bit of texture & color contrast on them to your embroidery projects. You can never have too many flower ideas!

    Braided chain stitch--will be a cool detail on something... This entire blog is AMAZING, full of easy-to-follow instructions on just about any stitch you can think of.
