Homemade febreeze. I will be honest, I was not sure if this would work or not but I gave it a chance. It works! You must shake your bottle up pretty well before each use as the ingredients settle between uses. I love that I can use my fav scents for this. This is probably one of my most favorite homemade cleaning products!!!!

I went to Walmart and picked out my favorite scent of liquid fabric softener. I took out an empty spray bottle I had stashed away. Mix up just over 1/8 cup of the fabric softner with 2 tablespoons of baking soda and fill the rest of the bottle with tap water.

I use cheap vodka mixed with water (1:2 or 1:3). Secret I learned from the costume mistress at a dinner theater - that's what they spray on the costumes when they are doing five shows in four days and can't dry clean the sweaty, stinky costumes between shows. I also use in when pressing fabric before quilting - add a few drops of essential oil (lavender, etc) to the vodka and shake before adding the water.
