Mix Elmer’s glue with food coloring and paint it on to any glass to make it look like sea glass when dry. In a bowl, you will want to add one teaspoon of glue, three drops of food coloring and 1 1/2 teaspoons of water .. These look really nice with candles, or electric candles, glow sticks ect inside them :) ~Frisky

Remember the Mod Podge + food coloring technique for painting clear glass? This treatment provides for more depth of color as well.

DIY Beach Glass Directions: 1) Start with clean, dry glass bottles and jars and prepare your workspace. 2) Mix the school glue and water as if you were making homemade mod podge. Just mix 2-3 parts glue to 1 part water. 3) Add a few drops of blue and green food coloring. Add more blue or green depending on your preference. Add just a little dish liquid.
