Inference Bags - Put mystery items in each bag. Have students write out 6 clues about their mystery object in the bag. The clues shouldn't be obvious, but they do have to be factual. Once finished, students will read clues & make inferences about what the mystery object is.
INFERENCES FILM: Pigeon: Impossible - a short, wordless film, perfect for inferring - Students can infer the location, his profession, his motivation/ personality, etc... - Watch first so you know points to stop!
