State Rape T Shirt by ferrerjg on Etsy. For the horrible, horrible recently implemented laws in SEVEN states so far that force women to undergo a completely medically irrelevant and unnecessary transvaginal ultrasound before they can have an abortion.
Safe from what? They certainly can't be attacked by the child still in the womb... The "provider?" certainly isn't going to be attacked by the mother who's voluntarily aborting the child... If the "pur-viders" are "a-feered uhh duh rest uhh suh-ciety..." (when and if they can still peacefully sleep at night - without a conscience) then they probably should be...
Pro-choice. Meaning I'm pro-abortion, pro-pregnancy, pro-adoption, pro-kid, pro-childless, pro-woman, pro-contraceptives, pro-social programs to help kids that are born eat, have a place to sleep, have clothing on their back, get an education and not just live but thrive, pro-IT'S YOUR BODY AND YOUR LIFE AND YOUR CHOICE!
Here we go again: Mississippi Republicans are once again waging war against women. The anti-abortion forces in Mississippi won passage of a bill in the state House on Wednesday that would effectively ban abortions after the detection of a fetal heartbeat, which is after approximately six weeks of pregnancy, and defines life as beginning at conception, which would ban many forms of contraception.
The state Senate in Idaho today passed a bill mandating an ultrasound for any woman seeking an abortion. The legislation prompted a protest on the capitol steps a couple of weeks ago, and last week a senate hearing room was packed as the State Affairs Committee approved the bill, 7-2, along party lines.
