Coasters from soda cans - I used fabric for this. It took very little skill to do this. I think it would be great for kids too.

I've done this. It's a little more work than it makes it seem on the website, but totally worth it. Not too hard, but cutting the cans is what takes the most time. I upcycled some old crafts I had made as a kid (you know those little peg bead things that you iron/melt together?) and hot glued them on the bottom as pads. I even got my tiles from the nearest habitat for humanity store in their "extra tiles" pile. Besides the glue and modge podge used, this was 100% upcycled for me.

Cute pop can flowers - could be fun to put one on a gift that was someone's favorite kind of soda.

how cute would these pop can lanterns be on a porch with some tealights in them?
