    Browsing through "Vinyl" is cathartic! It is an experience unto itself. Especially "Old Vinyl", I miss those old record stores!

I miss record stores. Visiting one was a special experience, not mere shopping. Remember the album cover art? And the intentional sequence of the songs on the albums?

Colored records. Loved these.

The Bandstand, Westfield, NJ. We would go there after school and on Saturdays. They had listening booths where you could take a record and play it to try it before you bought it. They also had a both that you could go in a "cut" a record.

    That was The Music Staff on Elm. The Bandstand was on Broad St and sold instruments.
