I've been re-designing my own business cards and these are great examples of subtly manipulating text to create something visually engaging without actually adding a graphic or logo. As we learned in previous modules, using the text to make line more intricate and modifications like overlapping, linking or mirroring text make a clean and memorable business card. Such a cute idea: 'sometimes it’s hard to tell someone how much you like him or her, which makes these cards perfect for us shy folk. Designed to pass good feelings from stranger to stranger, goatcards foster connection through good design.'
I like the colour of the background. I'd like to try a similar shade for the background of my web pages; since the web site is being designed to promote a period film, I don't think bright colours would be suitable, but I would prefer not to have just a white background, as that might be a bit harsh to look at. I think a cream or off-white shade might be softer on the eye. Vajza N'kuti
