    The Squiggle by Carole Lexa Schaefer: I use this book in the classroom with an acting exercise. The students hear the story then we act out the story with the character.

    Falling Up: Poems and Drawings The humor in these books make them ideal for reading and teaching poetry to elementary school students. I will use this book periodically throughout the school year.
