I love fake vintage appliances. #oven #stove #kitchen #vintage #interiordesign
Oh how I wish vintage stoves had windows in their oven doors...IF ONLY...then this would be my dream stove/oven. Not in green of course, still not sure what color will look good with the yellow paint I have selected for the kitchen, but I'd probably get my appliances in black or brushed silver.

Small space kitchen looks so pretty with patterned floor #tile
Actually that's not true. A black and white checked floor set on the diagonal makes a space look bigger.
One thing that folks are missing is that in the world of small kitchens most are not designed to "look bigger" but are designed to be more efficient and user friendly.
As far as the claims that a busy floor makes a space look smaller there are numerous small space decorating pins that show highly-patterned rugs which enlarge the look of the entire room.
I agree with the black and white checkerboard floor giving spaciousness to smaller rooms, but given most kitchens, when they're in use, not like in these photos, can look pretty messy, I wouldn't want the visual 'busyness' to extend to the floor as well. Of course, good design is extremely important if you haven't a medium or larger kitchen in order to ensure small spaces work. But with a rug in a room-it's just that-a defining area in a larger room (generally furnished withcoverings)
furnished with plainer floor coverings)
I love the floor colour, and the colours make me feel good in it,..
