Four days into his third draft of his thank you note to Pa Pa, Gareth wished he had read the second item on the list earlier.

With Martin away on business, Gareth climbed into bed wondering how seriously he should have followed his instructions not to feed the footstools after midnight.

As Gareth placed the portrait of Martin's mother on the dresser, he sensed a feeling of dread coming from the other pictures— a feeling he knew all too well.

Although not its original intention, Martin was pleased that Gareth used the wall art as a handy reminder to keep him from choking: When Eating Swallow Thoroughly.

Martin wasn't sure why Gareth needed to sit down at the sink, but he couldn't deny that his hands were much cleaner ever since bringing the chair into the bathroom.

Thanks to his new art purchase, all it took was a quick glance for Gareth to confidently answer the question, "How many globes do you have?" Catalog Living. Source: Country Living

Feeling neglected in the holiday bustle, Gareth retreated once again to his "attention chair," where he knew he could count on the company of eight attentive, if somewhat creepy, friends.
