6 cups water, 1 cup corn syrup, 2 cups regular strength Joy dish soap. Industrial strength, un-poppable.

SOAP MUD!!! Soap mud is a soft, foamy, glorious goop, which is wonderful for squeezing and squishing with hands and feet! It is often referred to as "clean mud" as it really does have the feeling of warm, wet mud, but is made from soap and therefore leaves your children smelling delicious!

Hot glue a pompom on end of dry erase markers to use as an eraser. GENIUS!

Crayon hot rocks: Simply warm up the rocks in the oven (220 for 10 minutes), then put them on a stack of newspapers and let the little ones go to town. Just remind them it is hot. I have done it with 2 1/2 year olds with no problem. My little lady often brings in rocks for me to "cook" so she can paint them> sounds like a fun rainy day activity!
