Printmaking...string, blocks of wood, tape, cardboard pieces, Q-tips...could be great DIY wrapping paper.

Download the image you want to make a stencil for. Cover the entire image with packing tape, on both sides of the paper. Leave at least 2-3" of packing tape extending past the image, as well. Cut the black parts of the stencil out, using your X-acto knife (on a cutting mat or cutting board), or small sharp scissors (like manicure scissors). USE :)

Create your own foam stamp blocks...cut shapes, glue to wooden blocks, ink, print....very kid friendly, too....
