We’ve seen lots of ombre techniques in the past, but this one is pretty cool because it’s done on your bare nails and has more of a stain effect than looking like actual nail polish. This was much easier than I thought it was going to be, but you should be prepared to practice once or twice before doing the actual mani. It’s all about technique!

Another cute use for those DIY nail stickers! xo #nail #art

mixed metal finger nails - gold with silver glitter

Even tho valentines day is over this is still a great idea... Would be cute with Mardi Gras colors!!

THE BASIC MANICURE ~Always clean your tools properly before you begin. ~You want to file your nails dry ~Soak ur nails in bowl of warm water ~Apply a cuticle oil/cream to keep the cuticle soft while you’re doing ur manicure ~Using an orange stick/metal pusher, push ur cuticles back. ~If you’re a pro, you can very carefully trim the cuticle ~Buff the nail using a 3/4 sided buffer.

Follow the link and learn how to become a Gradient Gal xo uhh idk what a gradient gal is but if you wanna find out, go right on ahead!~

TOOLS: base & top coat, green polish & red polish (you can use any colors you want), white or off-white polish, cuticle nippers or small scissors, black cotton string, a small brush or pointed q-tip.

Peter Pan Collar Nails [This kind of thing would be so cute if I had the nails for it!]

The Bow Mani | The Beauty Department The Beauty Department just keeps pumping out these gorgeous manis and I’m totally in love with this one! Is it just me or does this remind you of a Tiffany’s box?! If you don’t own a nail art pen, my lovely readers suggest using instead the thinest paint brush you can find instead. Cheaper and it means any of your nail polishes can become a ‘pen’!

love the plaid...but i would paint my entire hand with the plaid not just 2 fingers.
