Funny how Drew Barrymore always gets top billing for the advertising and she is only in it for 10 minutes. But I love it anyway.

Underworld is a series of vampire/werewolf films directed by Len Wiseman and Patrick Tatopoulos screenplay by Danny McBride. The first film, Underworld, was released in 2003. Selene, a beautiful vampire warrior, is entrenched in a war between the vampire and werewolf races. Although she is aligned with the vampires, she falls in love with Michael, a werewolf who longs for the war to end.

Shaun of the Dead (2004), Universal Pictures, Studio Canal, and Working Title Films with Simon Pegg, Kate Ashfield, and Nick Frost. Can we really call this hysterically funny movie horror? I guess so ... but ...

2005's Marathon: SAW (2004) - With a dead body laying between them, two men wake up in the secure lair of a serial killer who's been nicknamed "Jigsaw". The men must follow various rules and objectives if they wish to survive and win the deadly game set for them.

Insidious - one super scary movie. I prefer horror movies like this one that doesn't resort to all kinds of gore. It just relies on good storytelling.

3/31/2012 - Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace - without Jar Jar Binks, this could well have been the best of the new series or possibly the entire 6 part epic.
