DIY oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, can be done to towel rods and other fixtures too... GENIUS! I just finished this project throughout my home. Hinges, knobs, tub, shower and light fixtures. Looks amazing and seems to be wearing very well. I primed each item with a car primer from Pep Boys to insure wear-ability. I love the updated look. I’m about to tackle the shower doors. Wish me luck!!

The Collins Team is listing a home with a traditional "gold edge" shower door. Here is a great fix for those doors which lasts, has a lovely finish, and costs $8 in supplies. First tape off the mirror and wall edges and cover-up anything you don't want painted. Use Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze (or one of the other colors in the OIL line) & say goodbye to your ugly gold shower door! Presto!

Paint all the shiny brass knobs with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed bronze spray. EASY WAY TO UPDATE YOUR HOME! Where has this been all my life?
