"Up Heartbreak Hill" gives insight to what a fraction of reservation teenagers must face as they make their way towards graduation and into the outside world.

The Reel Injun (2009) is a documentary that is narrated by Neil Diamond; a Cree-Canadian filmmaker who documented his journey to Hollywood. Diamond was looking for answers about many of the stereotypes that went along with being Native American. The film is based off his own experiences as a child growing up and to see how Hollywood has had an effect on how people view the Native people.
