      Is Pinterest the game changer [ new infographic] Were you thinking to yourself “I could really use another social media site”? Well you came to the right place because it seems there is another social media site taking the net by storm. I’ll admit I don’t know too much about, but I have been seeing Facebook posts about it. The website is called pinterest, the concept being you create a virtual bulletin board of stuff you find interesting, including anything from photos to links.     As Facebook has grown from a collegiate social network to a site that gets action from 7.3% of the world’s population, it has also evolved into a marketing tool. One report estimated that advertisers will spend $4 billion on Facebook advertising this year. Facebook didn’t come out of the gate as a marketing-friendly product in 2004, and it has conducted a fair share of failed experiments in its efforts to become one. More than half of them have drank alcohol in the past month. They text and email from mobile phones and use mobile apps more often than average Internet users. They’re 11% more likely to use Verizon than other web surfers and 19% have Motorola phones.
