Blackberry Lemonade Yields about 2 quarts 6 cups water, divided 1 cup sugar 4 lemons 2 cups (1 pint) fresh blackberries In a large saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil with the sugar. Once completely dissolved, remove from heat and allow to cool. Juice the lemons; this will yield about 1 cup of freshly squeezed juice. This combo is high in antioxidants and vitamin C which are natural pain killers. Pineapple juice contains Bromelain, a good anti-inflammatory food, but drink only freshly extracted juice. Canned or frozen pineapple juices have lost this pain-reducing enzymes. Romaine lettuce, cilantro and ginger all have their individual anti-inflammatory properties, making this juice combo very effective to greatly reduce inflammation and pain.
