Robert Tecumtha Browne (b. 1882) was a mathematician, theosophical leader, and a POW during WWII. He devoted many hours to the Methodist Church, the YMCA, the Republican Party, the Equity Congress, and the Negro Civic League. Through higher mathematics he acquired a deep appreciation for the ethereal. He wrote an unpublished manuscript titled "Hyperspace and Evolution of New Psychic Faculties." He worked with Carter G. Woodson to revise the constitution of the American Negro Academy.
