Visualize/Summarize Anchor Charts- could work for Awana during handbook time to talk about stories from the Bible

A good poster for the nonfiction section, showing text features with pages from OUR library books (promotes the books AND teaches text features!

I use this in my classroom, but I definitely need to start calling Voice Level 1 "spy talk". It's MUCH cooler than whispering! (If anyone has never heard of this before, I HIGHLY recommend it! It took a couple of weeks for my kids to get the hang of it, but now they ask me what voice level they are allowed to be at for certain activities. It's AMAZING!)

I like this idea for each reading comprehension skill. Could write on large flip paper and review while studying the skill. Also could be used for reviews when needed.

Either read "A Bad Case of the Stripes" and create poster, or do with another book. Allow students to create a visual storyline as they read their books.

This download has all that you will need to set up a Successful Writing Center in your classroom. Includes posters, labels to make your own bigger anchor charts, writing sheets for students to write all different types of writing, plus other resources. Available in English or Spanish-Alma Almazan
