A book that can be best describe as both happy and sad at the same time. Truly captures the things that we will do for the people that we love.

Beatiful Joe. The first really sad book I ever read. Couldn't stop crying, but couldn't put it down.

If you loved "The Kite Runner," you will love this book also. Unimaginably tragic, Hosseini's magnificent second novel is a sad and beautiful testament to both Afghani suffering and strength.

Bonjour Tristesse (hell sadness) - This is one of my favorite books and films. A girl who wears melancholy as a medal. Pickle

Best book by Christopher Moore by far! Jesus' life as told by his best friend, Biff. Hilarious book, a good read. $10.99 or less, depending where you buy it. Its cheaper on Amazon.

The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath. This book resonates with me the way I was promised Catcher in the Rye would. Why wasn't I given this book in high school instead?

I loved this book and couldn't read it fast enough. Definitely full of sadness but also full of hope. Sweet, good, loving characters and characters who were mean, ugly and flawed. A great read and highly recommended.
